This Privacy Policy describes how Bogusz Houszka trading as Inspicon Bogusz Houszka ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application, Keepo (the "App").
We are based in Poland (European Union) and operate as a Sole Proprietorship (Jednoosobowa Działalność Gospodarcza). We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable laws in the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We distinguish between your Content (your measurements) and Usage Data (how you interact with the App).
A. Your Content (Stored Locally)
We prioritize your privacy. The data you input into the App—such as specific measurements, project names, calculation history, and labels—is stored locally on your device or synced via your personal iCloud account.
- We do not have access to your measurements. We do not transmit your calculation history to any private servers.
B. Usage Data & Analytics (Processed by Third Parties)
To improve the App and provide a better user experience (e.g., through A/B testing), we collect anonymous usage data. This data does not contain your personal measurements or project details.
We use the following third-party service providers:

Google Firebase (Google LLC)
Purpose: To analyze app performance, track crash reports (Crashlytics), and conduct A/B testing to optimize features.
Data Collected: Device model, OS version, session duration, button taps, and crash logs.

Purpose: To understand user journeys and feature usage (e.g., how often the "Visual Ruler" is used).

C. Payment Information
- Apple (StoreKit): All financial transactions are handled directly by Apple. We do not process or store your credit card information. We only receive a confirmation of your subscription status (e.g., "Active" or "Expired").
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the collected Usage Data for the following purposes:
- To identify and fix software bugs (crashes).
- To understand which features are most valuable to our users.
- To conduct A/B tests (e.g., testing different button layouts) to improve usability.
- To validate subscription status via Apple StoreKit.
3. DATA STORAGE AND TRANSFERS
- Local Storage: Your personal project data resides on your device.
- International Transfers: Usage Data collected by Firebase and Mixpanel may be processed on servers located in the United States. These transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or data processing agreements ensuring compliance with GDPR and international standards.
4. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR, CCPA, & Global)
For Users in the European Union (GDPR):
- Data Minimization: We only process data required for app functionality and improvement.
- Consent: By using the App, you consent to the processing of anonymous Usage Data. You can opt-out of analytics in the App Settings (if applicable) or by contacting us.
- Right to Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland.
For Users in California (CCPA) and USA:
- No Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal information.
- Right to Know: You have the right to request details about the categories of data we collect (listed in Section 1).
For Users in Australia and New Zealand:
- We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ). You have the right to access and correct personal information we hold about you (which, in our case, is limited to anonymous usage stats).
5. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The App is a professional utility tool and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
